Flat plan

This is the flat plan for my magazine. It has all of the features and important information my magazine has. this is important as it will help me creative my magazine without me forgetting to include any crucial information.

Adobe illustrator Masthead practice.

Today in class our task was to go on Adobe illustrator for practice to create our own mastheads for our magazines.I used my name to practice all the techniques on . I played around the with the size and width, I then moved around the masthead to place it in the correct place.To get my chosen colour I went online and searched up the color wheel, this gave my to exact colour I wanted.after I placed around with shapes and stretched my masthead into various type of shapes and finally used the eraser to add little effects such as the polka dots.

Class work

Today in class we had to look at a various amount of Magazines. I chose to analyse the magazine VIBE and comment on its features and different aspects of the magazine cover.

To create my college magazine I  used photoshop. I got my friend to model for me holding some revision notes and smiling right at the camera this suggests that he is positive and happy about the fact that he is in education.  The " LSC" logo is large and bold so that it stands out in the magazine and so that it's obvious what type the magazine is.The magazine cover has a date and price and I interviewed the student Aaron Robinson first year and asked his opinion on the education system in his school.I also  zoomed in to my models face as he looks at the camera and it looks more of a medium shot.

In today's lesson I took a medium shot of my friend for my college magazine. I used photoshop and put my image on it and used shift so that my image didn't look pixelated when i increased the size.then i looked up the web for barcodes and chose the most realistic one and used that. then i put up interesting things that students will want to know about.
